Charleston Urbanite is a local guide to Charleston's events and nights out. It is operated by Events Pro. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Charleston Urbanite and Events Pro. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What this site is

Charleston Urbanite lists events in and around Charleston so you can find something to do. We are a guide, not a ticket seller and not an event organizer. We don't run the events listed, we don't sell tickets to them, and we don't control who performs or what happens there.

Where listings come from

Listings come from event organizers, venues and public sources. Where we can, each listing links to its source. Dates, times, prices, lineups, venues and age limits can change, and events can be postponed, moved or cancelled, sometimes with little notice. We try to keep listings accurate but we don't guarantee they are complete or current. Please confirm with the organizer or venue before you go.

Tickets and purchases

If a listing has a ticket link, it takes you to the organizer's or venue's site, or to a ticketing site they use. The purchase is between you and them, under their terms, prices, fees and refund policy. Charleston Urbanite isn't a party to that sale, doesn't take your payment, and can't issue refunds, replacements or exchanges. For ticket problems, contact the seller.

Links to other sites

Listings and pages link to sites we don't run, including organizers, venues, ticketing sites and social pages. We don't control them, aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, security or privacy practices, and a link isn't an endorsement. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Corrections and removals

If a listing is wrong, or you are an organizer, venue or artist who wants a listing changed or taken down, email guides@plecco.net with the link to the listing and what should change. If you are the organizer, say so, so we can check. We'll review requests promptly and update or remove the listing where it's warranted. See the Contact page.

Using the site

You may browse and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't scrape it at scale, copy listings or artwork in bulk, interfere with the site, or try to access anything that isn't public. Flyers and artwork belong to their organizers and creators. Our own text, design and branding belong to us.

No warranties, limited liability

The site and its listings are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or cost arising from your use of the site or from relying on a listing, including events that change or are cancelled, or anything that happens at an event or with a third-party seller. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA (same basis as the existing Events Pro platform terms; counsel to confirm).
